A LITTLE TRIP, A WIDER WORLD.

Terms of Service

Effective date: 2026-10-30

1. About Trito

Trito ("Trito", "we", "us") is operated by 느낌있는 사람들 (Neukkim-inneun Saramdeul), represented by Kim Hyundae, 7-5 Eonnam 9-gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, Republic of Korea. Trito is a travel app for two things: sharing real travel courses that people actually took, and finding companions to travel together.

By creating an account or using Trito you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Trito.

2. Who can use Trito

You must be 18 years or older to use Trito. You tell us your birth year when you sign up, and we do not allow anyone under 18 to register. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we will close it.

You can start with Sign in with Apple, Google or an email address, and every account then verifies a phone number by a one-time code. You may keep one account per phone number, and you must give us true information about yourself.

3. Your account and handle

You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Keep your phone and your sign-in secure, and tell us at support@trito.app if you think someone else is using your account.

Your handle is a public name that identifies you in the app. Do not choose a handle, name, photo or bio that impersonates another person, is offensive, or promotes something unlawful. We may ask you to change it.

4. Your content

You own the courses, photos, trips, messages and other content you post ("your content"). You give Trito a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, store, copy, display and distribute your content inside the service so that it can work as described, for example showing your course to other users or letting someone who imports your course see it in their trip.

Photos you upload have their location metadata removed. You promise that you have the right to post your content and that it does not break the law or anyone else's rights.

When you share a course, other people may import it. Imported copies stay with the people who imported them even if you later delete your own copy.

5. What is not allowed

Do not post, send or do any of the following: spam or advertising; abuse, hate or threats against a person or group; sexual content or harassment; scams, or requests for money; fake courses or false information; anything that threatens someone's safety; and anything else that is unlawful or that harms other users or Trito. These match the reasons you can pick when you report something.

Do not use Trito to collect other people's personal data, to contact people who have told you to stop, to move people away from the app to pay you or give you money, or to try to break or bypass how the service works.

6. Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users

Trito has zero tolerance for objectionable content and for abusive users. Content that breaks section 5 is not welcome here, and people who post it or who abuse other users will not be allowed to stay.

Reported content is reviewed by our team. We remove content that breaks these terms, and we may restrict or close the accounts of the people responsible, with or without prior warning, depending on how serious the case is.

7. Reporting and blocking

You can report a user, a course or a message from inside the app. Choose one reason and, if you like, add a short note. A course or message you report is hidden for you straight away, and we review the report. We do not tell you the outcome of a report individually, but we act on reports.

You can block another user. When you block someone, neither of you can send the other a message request, a join request or an invitation request, and neither of you sees the other's courses, recruiting trips or local profile in feeds and search. Any open one-to-one conversation between you is closed, and pending requests between you are closed and refunded. If you share a trip, the trip stays, and the blocked person's group messages are collapsed for you. The other person is not told that you blocked them. You can unblock someone in Settings, under Blocked users.

Contact us at support@trito.app about anything you see that worries you.

8. Restrictions on accounts

If you break these terms we may restrict your account. A restriction can apply to your whole account, to posting, or to chat, and lasts for a limited time or until we lift it. We will tell you which kind of restriction applies and until when, and how to reach us. We keep our reviewers' notes private and we do not share them with the person concerned.

If you think a restriction is a mistake, write to support@trito.app.

9. Automatic filtering and safety cautions

To keep Trito safe we run an automatic filter that can stop a post, profile text or message that contains severe profanity, hate speech or sexual terms. If that happens we ask you to edit your text.

If a first message request or a join request contains what looks like a phone number, a bank account number or an outside messenger ID, the person who receives it sees a caution about scams. The message is not blocked. Be careful about sharing money or personal details with someone you have just met.

10. Meeting companions

Trito helps people find each other, but it is not a party to any arrangement between users. Apart from verifying a phone number we do not check who people are or what they say about themselves. You meet and travel with other users at your own risk, so please use your own judgment, meet in public places first, tell someone you trust your plans, and leave if you feel unsafe.

Locals who say they are open to travelers may answer questions and share tips. Trito does not allow paid guiding or any paid service through the app, and we do not take part in payments between users.

11. Footprints

Footprints are a point that only exists inside Trito. They have no cash value. They cannot be sold, transferred to another person, or exchanged for money or anything of value outside Trito. Footprints you spend are used up and never go to another member.

You earn footprints, for example, by sharing a past course, and you spend them on things like importing a course or sending a request. The app shows each fee before you confirm it, and shows when a fee is refunded, for example when a request is declined, cancelled or closes automatically. Your level is based on the total footprints you have earned, and spending does not lower it. We may change how footprints are earned or spent, and we will show the current rules in the app.

You can buy footprint packs in the Trito app for iOS and Android. Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) takes the payment under its own terms, at the price and in the currency the store shows before you pay. The footprints are added to your balance once the store confirms the payment. Bought footprints do not count toward your level. Footprints have no expiry date while your account exists.

You can cancel a purchase and get a refund within 7 days of buying it, as long as you have not used any of that pack. Because the store takes the payment, the refund is made by the store: for the App Store, request it at reportaproblem.apple.com; for Google Play, request it through Google Play or write to us at support@trito.app and we will process it. A pack you have partly used cannot be refunded, except where the law requires it. Before you delete your account, ask for a refund of any pack you can still cancel; footprints left when an account is deleted cannot be restored.

When a purchase is refunded or cancelled by the store, we remove the footprints it added. If you have already spent them, your balance can go below zero, and you cannot spend footprints until it is back above zero.

If we ever end Trito or stop selling footprints, we will tell you in the app at least 30 days before, and we will handle unused bought footprints as the law requires.

12. Deleting your account

You can delete your account at any time in the app under Me, Settings, Delete account. You can choose whether to delete the courses you shared or keep them without your name. What happens to your data is described in the Privacy Policy.

You may stop using Trito at any time. We may suspend or end the service for you if you break these terms or the law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we change them in a way that matters, we will show you the new version in the app and ask you to agree to it again before you keep using Trito. The effective date and version are shown at the top of this page. We record when you agreed and to which version.

14. Disclaimers and limits of liability

Trito is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not promise that it will always work without interruption or errors, and we are not responsible for the accuracy of courses, places, prices or opening hours that users share. Travel carries risks, and we are not responsible for what happens during a trip you take or arrange with other users.

To the extent the law allows, Trito is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss caused by other users' content or conduct. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the law that cannot be limited, including your rights as a consumer.

15. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. If a dispute cannot be settled by talking, it may be brought to the competent court in Korea, without limiting any mandatory consumer rights you have where you live.
